How can I access the Maxis router?
- In the address bar of a browser, type 192.168.1.254 or 192.168.0.1.
- Enter the Username and Password and click Login.
- The Maxis settings page will be open with you logged in.
The default password and username for Maxis
The back of your Maxis router will print your username, password, and default IP address. Use the router’s serial number (S/N) if the password isn’t functioning.

How can I modify the network name and password for Maxis WiFi?
Select your router:

TP-Link
- Open the web-based configuration page and log in.
- From the left menu, choose Wireless 2.4GHz and select Basic Settings. (To configure 5GHz network settings, select Wireless 5GHz.)
- In the SSID field, type the name of the wireless network.
- In the SSID Password field, type the Wi-Fi password.
- To make the changes take effect, click Save.
Aminia
- Open the Maxis Gateway and log in.
- Choose WLAN > wlan0 (2.4GHz) > Basic Setting. (To configure 5GHz settings, select wlan1 (5GHz) from the menu.)
- Click Apply Changes after entering the Wi-Fi Network Name in the SSID field.
- Select Security from the drop-down.
- Click Apply Changes after entering the Wi-Fi password in the Pre-Shared Key area.
Huawei
- To configure the network, log on to the Maxis website.
- From the menu, choose Wi-Fi Configuration.
- In the Wi-Fi Name field, type the name of the Wi-Fi network.
- Enter the Wi-Fi Password in the Password field of both 2.4G and 5G Networks.
- Click “Save.”
Router KAON
- Go to the web-based setup page of the router and log in.
- Select WIRELESS > Wi-Fi.
- In the Network Name (SSID) field, type the Wi-Fi network name.
- In the Password field, type the Wi-Fi password.
- Click Apply after you’ve reached the bottom. When a warning appears, click OK.
Technicolor
- Go to the router’s settings page and log in.
- On the Home page, under Wi-Fi click on the Configure button.
- In the SSID field, type the name of the wireless network.
- In the Password field, type the Wi-Fi password.
- Press “Apply.”
