You can modify the default modem settings, Network Name (SSID), and WiFi password using the iiNet gateway.

- Broadband Gateway TG-789
- The TP-Link VX220-G2V, VX420-G2V, VR1600v, or Smart Modem Gateway VX420-G2H
- 5866 Sagemcom 5G Modem
- FastMile 5G modem by Nokia
- CG3000 Cable Gateway Pro
- CG2200 Cable Gateway Pro

How can I access my iiNet modem?
Broadband Gateway TG-789
- In the address bar of a browser, type http://10.1.1.1.
- After entering your password and username, click Sign In. The default username and password for TG-1s are admin and admin, respectively. For TG-789s: A sticker on the back of the modem displays the GUI Login Username and Password.
- On the dashboard, click the Cog/Gears icon of the Wireless settings panel.
- Enter the Wi-Fi Network Name in the SSID name field.
- In the Wireless Password field, type the Wi-Fi password.
- Click “Save.”
The TP-Link VX220-G2V, VX420-G2V, VR1600v, or Smart Modem Gateway VX420-G2H
- In the address bar of a browser, type http://192.168.1.1.
- Click Log In after entering the admin default password.
- Select Wireless > Basic.
- In the Network Name (SSID) field, type the Wi-Fi network name.
- In the Password field, type the Wi-Fi password.
- Click “Save.”
Note: Band steering will be on by default. 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi networks will be combined into one, and the networks will automatically transition between them based on the strongest Wi-Fi signal available. You will notice distinct 2.4GHz and 5GHz settings if you turn it off.
When you try to connect, you won’t be able to see it in the list of available Wi-Fi networks if Hide SSID is enabled.
5866 Sagemcom 5G Modem
- In the address bar of a browser, type http://192.168.1.1.
- Click Login after entering your password and username, admin. The barcode sticker on your modem will print the password for the Web Login.
- Select the cog/gear icon on the Wi-Fi 2.4GHz or Wi-Fi 5GHz panel.
- Enter the Wi-Fi Network Name in the SSID field.
- In the Password field, type the Wi-Fi password.
- Press “Apply.”
FastMile 5G modem by Nokia
- In the address box of a browser, type http://192.168.1.254/.
- Click Login after entering your password and username, userAdmin. The barcode sticker on your modem will print the default password.
- Select Network > Wireless (2.4GHz) or Wireless (5GHz).
- In the SSID Name field, type the name of the Wi-Fi network.
- In the Password (WPA Key) area, type the Wi-Fi password.
- Click “Save.”
CG3000 Cable Gateway Pro
- In the address bar of a browser, type http://192.168.0.1.
- Click Login after entering your password and username, admin. The barcode sticker on your modem will bear the modem login password.
- Wireless > WiFi-5GHz or WIFi-2.4GHz > Basic.
- In the SSID field, type the name of the wireless network.
- Wireless > WiFi-5GHz or WIFi-2.4GHz > Security.
- In the WiFi Password field, type the Wi-Fi password.
- Click “Apply/Save.”
CG2200 Cable Gateway Pro
- In the address bar of a browser, type http://192.168.0.1.
- Click Login after entering the username, admin, and password, admin.
- On the menu bar, select 2.4GHz or 5GHz then select Primary Network.
- In the Network Name (SSID) field, type the Wi-Fi network name.
- In the Password field, type the Wi-Fi password.
- Press “Apply.”
EPC3940L Cable Gateway Pro
- In the address bar of a browser, type http://192.168.0.1.
- Click Login after entering the password and username, admin and password, respectively. Leave both fields empty if the default login information is insufficient.
- On the dashboard, select Wireless panel. On the Wireless Configuration page, both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks can be configured.
- In the Network Name field, type the Wi-Fi network name.
- In the Wireless Passphrase field, type the Wi-Fi password.
- Select “Save Settings.”
HG532d, HG658 or HG659 from Huawei
- In the address bar of a browser, type http://192.168.1.1.
- Click Login after entering the username, admin, and password, admin.
- Click Basic from the left menu and select WLAN.
- In the SSID field, type the name of the wireless network.
- In the WPA pre-shared key area, type the Wi-Fi password.
- Press the “Submit” button.
