D-Link Router Login

First, use an Ethernet cable or a WiFi network to connect your PC or laptop to the D-Link router. An active internet connection is not necessary; all you need to do is connect to the router.

To modify your WiFi settings, use these steps to access the Admin Panel on your D-Link router:

Login to 192.168.0.1

Login to 192.168.1.1

1. After connecting, launch a web browser on your computer.
2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 in the browser’s address box and hit Enter. As an alternative, you can enter http://dlinkrouter or http://dlinkrouter.local in place of the default gateway address.
3. You will be sent to your D-Link router’s login screen, where you must provide your username and password in order to proceed.
4. The login is admin by default, and no password is needed. You can use the default login information if you haven’t updated the admin login username and password. On a label on the back or side of your router, you can find the default login information. You can also look up your router model’s default login information online.
5. Log in to your D-Link router by entering your login information.
6. All of your router’s and WiFi network’s settings can be altered once you’re logged in.

How can the D-Link WiFi SSID be changed?

Use the router’s Admin Panel to modify your D-Link SSID by doing the following:

1. Use the previously indicated way to access your D-Link router’s Admin Panel.
2. Click on Manual Wireless Network Setup under Wireless Settings after you’re in the admin panel.
3. Enter your new SSID next to the Wireless Network Name/SSID field.
4. In order to modify the SSID, click Save Settings.
5. All of the devices that were previously linked will be unplugged after the SSID is changed, and you will need to reconnect from those devices to the network.

How do I modify the password for my D-Link WiFi?

Use the router’s Admin Panel to modify your D-Link SSID by doing the following:

1. Use the previously described procedure to log into your D-Link router’s Admin Panel.
2. Select Wireless Settings > Manual Wireless Network Setup after logging into the Admin Panel.
3. Choose WPA-2 from the Wireless Security Mode by scrolling down.
4. Enter your new WiFi password in the designated field in the Pre Shared Key section. It should be between 8 and 63 characters long and contain letters, numbers, and special characters.
5. To verify that the password has been changed, click Save Settings.
6. All of the devices that were previously connected will now be unplugged once the router reboots.
