You can modify the default router settings, Network Name (SSID), and WiFi password using the Airtel GPON Home Gateway at http://192.168.1.1.

How can I access my Airtel router?
- In the address bar of a browser, type 192.168.1.1.
- Click Login after entering the username, admin, and password, admin.
- In the Airtel router settings, you will be logged in.
Note: Your router will have a label on the back that will print the default IP address, username, and password. The procedures work with both Airtel 4G routers and Airtel Xstream fiber.
How can I modify my Airtel WiFi SSID and password?
Nokia ONT by Airtel:
- Enter 192.168.1.1 in the URL bar of a web browser and sign in to the router.
- From the menu, select Network and then Wireless (2.4GHz). To modify your 5G configuration, select Wireless (5GHz).
- In the SSID Name area under SSID Configuration, type your WiFi name.
- In the WPA Key area, type the WiFi password.
- To make the changes take effect, click Save.
Huawei ONT Airtel:
- Enter 192.168.1.1 in the URL bar of a web browser and sign in to the router.
- Click Login after entering the username, admin, and password, admin.
- From the top menu, pick WLAN, then 2.4G Basic Network Settings. Choose 5G Basic Network Settings to customize 5G settings.
- Enter the WiFi name in the SSID Name field under SSID Configuration Details.
- In the WPA PreSharedKey area, type your WiFi password.
- To save the changes, click Apply.
ZeroTouch ONT by Airtel:
- In the address bar of a browser, type 192.168.1.1.
- Click Login after entering the user name, admin, and the password.
- From the top menu, select Setup > WLAN > Basic.
- In the SSID area under Wireless Basic Settings, type the WiFi name.
- Choose Security under WLAN, then type the WiFi name in the Pre-Shared Key area.
- To save the changes, click Apply Changes.
The Tenda ADSL router from Airtel:
- In the address bar of a browser, type 192.168.1.1.
- Click Login after entering the username, admin, and password, admin.
- Enter the network name in the Wireless SSID field under Wireless Setup 2.4G.
- In the Wireless Key area, type your WiFi password.
- To save the changes, click OK.
