Telus admin settings, located at http://192.168.1.254, let you modify the default router or modem settings, WiFi password, and Network Name (SSID).

How can I access my Telus router?
- In the address bar of a browser, type 192.168.1.254.
- Enter the Username and Password and click Login.
- The admin password is posted on a sticker on the back of your modem, and the default username for the Actiontech T3200M and Telus Wi-Fi Hub is admin.
- For Actiontech (T1200H or T2200H, V1000H or V2000H) and ZyXEL VSG-1432: The default Username is admin and the Password is telus .
- You will be able to access the Telus router settings by logging in.

How can I modify my network name and password for Telus WiFi?
Regarding Actiontech modems with the Telus Wi-Fi Hub:
- Open the Telus admin settings and log in.
- Go to Wireless Setup > Wireless Settings > Basic Settings.
- In the SSID Name field, type the name of the Wi-Fi network.
- Choose the Security Key Type. Enter the Wi-Fi password in the window after selecting Custom Passphrase.
- Press “Apply.”
Regarding the ZyXEL VSG-1432 modem:
- Open the Web GUI and log in.
- From the top menu, click Wireless to open Basic Wireless Setup.
- In the Wireless Network Name (SSID) field, type the name of the Wi-Fi network.
- Enter the Wi-Fi Password in the Password field.
- Press “Apply.”
I am unable to access the Telus router settings.
1. Make sure the IP address you are using is accurate.
Try locating your router’s IP address if the GUI access IP does not open.
A system administrator might have assigned a different IP address than the one listed on the back of your modem for security reasons.
2. Do a factory reset.
You can use the credentials written on the back of your modem by performing a factory reset, which will return all of the modem’s settings to their original settings.
Find the red or gray Factory Reset button on the back of your modem to reset it. Hold it down until the Internet light becomes red.
The Telus modem will restart on its own. Give the procedure up to ten minutes to finish.
After finishing, try signing in once more using the Telus modem’s default Access IP, username, and password that are listed on the back.
3. Speak with your ISP.
If the issue persists, get in touch with your ISP so they may send a specialist to investigate the cause.
