You can modify the default modem settings, Network Name (SSID), and WiFi password via the Optus gateway at http://10.1.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1.

How can I access my Optus modem?
Note: Your modem’s back or underside has a sticker with your modem’s default router IP address, username, and password printed on it.
Modem, Optus Ultra WiFi (Gen 2)
- Enter 10.1.1.1 in the address bar of a browser that has been opened.
- In the password field, type the password that may be found on the bottom of your modem.
- Choose WiFi under Setup & Configuration.
- In the WiFi network name field, type the Wi-Fi network name.
- In the WiFi Password field, type the Wi-Fi password.
- Click “Save and Apply.”
Sagemcom
Sagem F@st 1201, Sagem F@st 3864, and Sagemcom 3864V3 OP / 3864V3 AC are supported models.
- In the address bar of a browser, type 192.168.0.1. 10.1.1.1 is the default IP address for Sagem F@st 1201.
- Click Login after entering your password and username, optus. The modem’s rear has a sticker with the Optus login password printed on it.
- Choose WiFi under Setup & Configuration.
- In the WiFi network name field, type the Wi-Fi network name.
- In the WiFi Password field, type the Wi-Fi password.
- Click “Save and Apply.”
The Netgear
The Netgear DGN220 and DG834 models are supported.
- Enter 10.1.1.1 in the address bar of a browser that has been opened.
- Click Login after entering the user name, admin, and password, if necessary.
- Select Wireless or Wireless Preferences.
- In the Name (SSID) field, type the name of your Wi-Fi network.
- In the Password (Network Key) or Pre-Shared Key area, type the Wi-Fi password.
- To save, click Apply.
5G wireless modem from Optus
- In the address bar of a browser, type the gateway address. Your modem’s back is printed with the admin IP.
- Select Network > 2.4GHz > SSID Configuration. 1. Click Configure SSID 5 after choosing 5GHz from the menu to set up the 5GHz network.
- In the SSID Name field, type the name of the Wi-Fi network.
- In the WPA Key area, type the Wi-Fi password.
- Click “Save changes.”
Other DSL Modems from Optus
- In the address bar of a browser, type 192.168.8.1.
- Click Log In after entering the default username, admin, and password, if necessary.
- Navigate to the Wi-Fi or Wireless Settings menu.
- In the Wi-Fi Name or SSID field, type the Wi-Fi Network Name.
- In the Wi-Fi Password / Pre-Shared Key / Passphrase field, type the Wi-Fi password.
- Click “Save.”
