Your device needs to be linked to the WiFi network of your NETGEAR router in order to visit routerlogin.net or routerlogin.com. Your NETGEAR router’s back has the default WiFi settings. To log in to your NETGEAR router, follow these steps:
- Launch a web browser and enter routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1.
- Click OK after entering the username admin and the password.
- Your NETGEAR router will be logged in.

Here’s how to use the password recovery feature to get your forgotten NETGEAR admin password back:
- Link your computer to the NETGEAR wireless network.

- You’ll see a login page.
- You will be taken to the Router Password Recovery page after clicking Cancel.
- The serial number of your router must be entered. It is printed beneath the router or on a label at the rear.
- Click “Continue” after entering the router’s serial number.
- The security questions will now need to be answered. Your router will need to be factory reset if you are unable to respond to the security questions.
